Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between the results of higher education and the labour market and to show the compatibility between these results and the requirements of the labour market. The study adopted a descriptive and analytical approach using the questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection from a sample at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies. The study found that higher education outcomes have an impact on technical skills but no impact regarding the compatibility between curricula and labour market requirements. It recommends improving curricula and strengthening collaboration between academia and the industrial sector to improve sustainable development in Libya.
