Abstract

The research aims to identify the impact of work ethics in its dimensions (promise and fulfillment of obligations, commitment, and honesty) on corporate governance from the perspective of employees within the Sirte Municipal Council. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach and used a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of (110) individuals. The results reached a medium level of work ethics and institutional governance within the council, and the existence of a statistically significant positive impact of work ethics in enhancing institutional governance, which indicates that commitment to ethical values contributes to improving the level of transparency and administrative accountability
