Abstract

This study focused on the role of industrial exports in Libya as a tool for economic diversification and reducing dependence on oil, by providing greater added value and enhancing competitiveness in foreign markets. The results showed that the oil sector still dominates the GDP by more than 60%, while the contribution of industrial exports did not exceed 3%, with a focus on European markets. Therefore, the study recommends adopting supportive policies for export industries, developing infrastructure and logistics services, activating diplomatic presence to facilitate the flow of manufactured goods to foreign markets, and investing in regional economic integration opportunities to achieve sustainable economic growth
